MAY 1, 2011 IOLA – The 2011 Wisconsin Off Road Series mountain bike season began with a chilly 40 degree windy day and hour east of Wausau. KS Energy Services/Team Wisconsin had riders representing across all categories including sport, comp and elite.
The course, mostly single track starts off with a blistering uphill climb followed by a sandy decent. After traversing through the “bowl” – a grassy field which riders enter at high speeds and climb out of at a much slower pace, was lined with spectators as the sun began to make an appearance later in the afternoon. Overall the team put on a great showing with podium finishes in all three categories.
