On August 23, Brien Christopherson and Tom Winkel (pictured below) had the honor of leading out the 5K run and 1 mile Make-A-Wish Foundation event in Milwaukee.
Our major sponsor, K&S Energy Services, has been a long time Make-A-Wish supporter through the Klumb Family Foundation, which has raised over $1,000,000 through almost 20 years of sponsoring the Klumb Family Foundation Golf Outing and other events.
The Make-A-Wish Foundation was started in 1980 when a few Arizona Police Officers were so moved by seven year old boy’s dream to be a Police Office that they did everything they could to make his dream come true before he lost his fight with Leukemia. The Make-A-Wish Foundation® grants the wishes of Wisconsin children living with life threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy.
