About Me:

I spend my off-season doing: Teach Physical Education at Palmyra Elementary
grades 4k-6 and coach Cross Country and Track at UW-Whitewater. I attend
many athletic events that my children participate in, cross country ski and
do a little mountain biking (fitness only; no racing). Expand my horizons of
different micro brews.

My goals and expectations for 2011 are: Improve, and help KS Energy Services/Team
Wisconsin become a positive (successful) ENERGY force not only in racing, but in
the overall cycling community.

I started racing because: I enjoy the thrill of the chase and running became too
difficult to chase anymore.

My cycling mentors and/or influences are: Rick Schleis, Peter Underwood, Mike
Bettinger, Christan Griego, Jim Surges, Bob Downs, Gordy Paulson.

I consider my finest moment on the bike to be: Every Ride.
The one thing I’ve done on a bike that I will never do again: Pedal hard into
turn four at Wheels on Willy thinking I had plenty of clearance.

When I’m not on my bike, I like to: Spend times with family and friends!
Something you probably don’t know about me is: I got the chance to meet, hang out
and have dinner with former Heavy Weight Champion of the World Floyd Patterson at
his home on long Island, real cool!!!!
