In My Own Words

I spend my off-season doing: Body Pump, Pilates and an annual trek to Vail for a little downhill skiing
My goals and expectations for 2012 are: Land a podium spot in a couple of races and help KS Energy win the team title.
I started racing because: I wanted a team kit.
My cycling mentors and/or influences are: Greg Lemond
I consider my finest moment on the bike to be: When I am with a teammate or two in a good position on the final lap of a race.
The one thing I’ve done on a bike that I will never do again: Flip over a 4×4 piece of lumber in the middle of the road.
When I’m not on my bike, I like to: Hike
Something you probably don’t know about me is: I spent a night in a cave during a snowstorm near the peak of the Grand Teton Mountain.
