In My Own Words
I spend my off-season doing: XC ski racing, whitewater kayaking, mountain biking.
My goals and expectations for 2012 are: Cat up.
I started racing because: Intense physical challenge, precision pack formations, speed…also got hypnotized by pack’s buzzing sound.
My cycling mentors and/or influences are: Teammates, Armstrong, Lemond, Eddie B.
I consider my finest moment on the bike to be: Winning first race, Cowtown Criterium, TX.
The one thing I’ve done on a bike that I will never do again: Brought the bike safely to a stop after a rear wheel collapse.
I’m not on my bike, I like to: Family stuff – mountain biking, XC skiing, and whitewater kayaking.
Something you probably don’t know about me is: I’m better looking than my brother.
