We had a big turn out of riders that represented the team in fine fashion last weekend at The Rock, in Franklin.
Joe Maloney was 6th overall in the pro race. With the likes of Brian Matter and Tristan Schouten, 6th is excellent! We are very lucky to have Joe represent our team.
Tim Racette was 1st overall in the Elite division and when stacked against the Pros, he was 12th overall. A stellar performance from Tim! Mike Wenzel was 6th in his age group and 29th overall. Considering that Mike has been off his bike and hitting the books, this is a good result. Congrats to Mike for graduating to a doctor of physical therapy!
In the Comp class, Marc Ano won his age class and was 3rd overall. Jason Balden also won his age class and was one place behind Mark
at 4th overall. Mikey Verhagen was second in his age class and 7th overall. This was a goal event for myself and my best result of this
MTB season. I finished 2nd in my age class and 18th overall. Dave Eckel came out and raced the event as a build up for cross and Chequamegon.
Delfino came out and raced in the dirt to show his support for Joe and the team. He brought his 2 boys and one of his boys even raced.
Joe did an excellent job organizing the festivities for the day and he put on a great party afterwards. Joe has awesome parents, too. It was a pleasure to be there with them.
